Affirmation isn’t agreement — it’s humanity. In this session, Dr. Tonyka McKinney offers a clear, compassionate framework for honoring identity and creating spaces where people feel seen and safe.

On July 9, we gathered for Lessons, Leaps and Legacy, a special Bold Truths and Sacred Spaces session held in celebration of the birthday of our Founder and Executive Director, Daumonique Lenhardt. This gathering honored the growth, clarity and courage that have shaped her journey and the Maverick community.

This Bold Truths & Sacred Spaces panel brought together a powerful lineup of voices who spoke with honesty, depth, and lived experience about what it means to navigate identity, protection, and personal evolution in today’s world. Each speaker carried a distinct truth, and together they created a conversation that was both grounding and transformative.
