Upcoming Session: “The Armour and the Ache: Healing from Being the Protector Without Protection”
with Dr. Sequeda Sutton**
June 18, 2026 • 8PM EST
In this upcoming installment of Bold Truths and Sacred Spaces, Dr. Sequeda Sutton returns to guide our community through one of the most profound and rarely acknowledged emotional realities: what it means to be the protector who has never been protected.
So many women, especially masculine presenting women, Black and Brown women, and those raised in survival based environments, learn to carry strength like armour. We become the dependable one, the responsible one, the one who absorbs the crisis, holds the family together, and keeps everyone else safe. Yet beneath that armour lives an ache that often goes unseen, unspoken, and unhealed.
